Shopping that Rewards YOU… Besides Getting Super Cute Clothes

Screen Shot 2015-07-20 at 2.47.27 PM

Calling all bloggers and shopping lovers! Have you ever seen one of my posts and been like…if I shop your items then what’s in it for me (besides getting a new cute outfit…duh)? I just barely found this incredible website called Glamhive that rewards its shoppers with points for every outfit you shop, these points can then be redeemed for gift cards to your favorite shops. Does it get any better than that? Instead of just aimlessly shopping on the internet, you might as well shop through Glamhive and earn points! This is the first shopping site that rewards the bloggers followers for shopping their looks, I definitely think you need to be rewarded for following me so this makes me happy!

Screen Shot 2015-07-20 at 2.46.08 PM

I will be linking every post I make to Glamhive so you can easily shop my looks to earn points for yourself! I have already created my account, my name is “WHITJXOXO” so you can find and follow me or click HERE to shop all members on Glamhive. I am so excited for everyone to be able to earn points and gift cards, what a cool feature! Also, if you sign up using my link, you start off with 100 points! Happy shopping!

Frugal Friday! Full Outfits and Accessories under $100 // Week 1

IMG_0798

Today I start “Frugal Friday” series and I am so excited about it! I have some great companies lined up to be a part of this series, I promise that you will not be disappointed. Every Friday I will be showing you how you can create a kill outfit for under $100, sometimes even under $50.

Beauty on a budget is really important to me, here’s why: My hubs and I just graduated from college this past April. Being college students, paying for our education, and working part time didn’t give me much wiggle room for new and/or expensive clothes. However, I have a passion for fashion that I (or my poor hubs) can’t ignore. So, I had to find a way to still appease my passion but stay within a budget. I started to search out deals everywhere I went (or shopped on line). If I didn’t have coupon for it or it wasn’t a certain percentage off then I wouldn’t buy it. I still found a way to stay on trend. Believe it or not it is possible and in this series I am going to show you how!

Here are the outfit deets:

Kimono: $23 Jane.com from vendor Three Brunettes Boutique

Flowey top: $12 Jane.com from vendor Stella B. Clothing

Pants: $22 from Target (with $5 off coupon from their weekly ad and my Red Debit card, saves you 5% every time you shop no matter what and the best part is that its not a credit card 🙂

Shoes: $20 from Target (shoe sale, buy one get one half off. They do this promotion often. But I just saw this exact pair there for under $19 right now!)

Clutch: $5 from Magnolia Mill (this company is seriously amazing she ALWAYS offers free shipping on everything and several times a WEEK she posts deals for $5 off your order or 20% off your order, etc. I got this clutch over half off on one of her sales, it’s originally $12 which is still an amazing price!)

Bar Necklace: $8 Three Chicks Couture (with 30% off coupon, the shop owner is amazing, she posts deals all of the time! If you see something you love in her shop chances are she will be posting a coupon code soon and you can snag it up then!)

Bracelets: $4 from Target (off of their sale rack by the accessories, they put things there after them being on the shelf for like a month so if you see something you love for full price, wait a few weeks and you will find it on the sale rack for 50% -or more- off).

Sunglasses: $5 from Forever 21

Total Price= $99

Please let me know if Frugal Friday is helpful! What are some of your tips for being fashionable on a budget? I would love to hear! Thanks for reading :).

You Better Believe I Wear Olivia Wares

IMG_0962

I recently found this company through Instagram called Olivia Wares they have beautiful, unique, fashion finds in their boutique and I truly enjoy browsing their shop… I do if often.

In this perfectly cool and fun summery outfit I am featuring their floral leggings. Guys, these leggings are as soft as butter and (as you can see) I am a girl with curves and these have plenty of stretch to perfectly cover my curves. I didn’t feel like I was bursting out of them AT ALL (which is not that easy to find when it comes to leggings and my bod).

Ready for the best parts? I am giving away one pair of leggings from Olivia Wares this week so stay tuned for the details on that. ALSO, I’m all about beauty on a budget so I have a killer 40% off coupon code for you to use on anything in their shop! Enter in code “whitneyj” but act quick because this is only good through this Sunday 7/12. UPDATE: Code is working now :). Happy Shopping! I hope you love Olivia Wares as much as I do :).

Pink, Tulle, and Floral // Getting the Most Out of Your Purchases

IMG_0823

My outfit today involves three of my favorite things; pink, tulle, and floral. These three are such a great combination together, you really just can’t go wrong. You might recognize this shirt from one of my previous posts a few back called Laid Back Summer  Lovin! In that post I styled this shirt very casually. But this time around I styled it fancy. Which brings me to the topic of how to make the very most out of your purchases.

I am not, nor will I ever be, the type of blogger who buys prada and wears Louis Vuitton, there is absolutely nothing wrong with those designers but I am just not a designer type. When I buy, I buy for style (of course) but I also buy for versatility. My hubs and I have a budget we set each month and I stay within that budget, even as I blog. In order to do this I look for pieces to buy that I know I can wear at least two different ways, like this shirt. If I can’t wear it two different ways then I rarely buy it…unless I am in LOVE with it and in that case…well you know what that case is :).

This shirt is from White Plum right now you can get 40% off your order of $40 or more by entering in code “AMERICAN BEAUTY”

What are your tricks for style on a budget? I would love to hear from you! I am always looking for new ideas. Thanks for reading!

A Pop of Pink

IMG_0813
There’s not much better than a pop of color, especially when the color is pink. I find myself using an accent color all over my house and often in my wardrobe. I LOVE adding and accentuating those little colorful details. This outfit is so classy and fun, I decided to use bright pink as my accent color, I had Seventy7 Cosmetics Fuchsia colored lipstick on my lips, bright pink pumps, and a beautiful bright pink charm bracelet  that my cute mom gave me for my birthday.

Now for the outfit deets… this striped pink shirt is one of my very favorites. I bought it for less than $10 from BB Styled Boutique’s Warehouse s
ale a few weeks ago- here’s the bummer part- I have looked and looked and looked on their website to find it and I can’t :(. I am not sure if they are just not carrying it anymore or what? I will keep trying to track down a company that sales it though, don’t you worry :). The skirt is from Kohl’s it’s part of the Lauren Conrad collection. I love the length on this, it is long enough to wear heels with and when it comes to maxi skirts, I usually struggle finding ones long enough for heels.

Remember to enter my HUGE eyebrow package giveaway on my last post, its worth over $50!
